When I came on board at Oxalis Pulse as Chief Creative Officer, I took a rather wordy, technology-focused digital media marketing offer and added a colourful, human face to it; the sales pitch was already there, but it was not presented in an engaging, selling way. I wanted to create a brand that was both visually appealing and technically informed. The offer was all about integrating creative and media, and the brand needed to quickly and effectively convey that idea, so I reviewed all the site content and trimmed it down, making it fit for purpose.

I wanted that creative brand idea to carry though all of our touchpoints: marketing materials, sales pitches and especially our tone of voice. Explaining a complex digital marketing offer with many aspects to consider, how it relates to the modern digital media technology landscape, and what benefits it can deliver, needed some solid advertising techniques, presenting bite-sized information nuggets.
