Branding a Medtech startup
Branding system, web creation and marketing asset design for Swedish Medtech company Observe Medical's patient monitoring technology, Sippi. We were approached by Observe Medical's CEO Magnus Emmoth  after a number of failed attempts to create a coherent brand identity, brand story and website for their patented product, in the light of their strategy to launch the company on the First North stock exchange within 12 months.
Start with the logo
The first task we undertook was to update the product logo, which was flat and outdated. The drop shape icon was reworked, with a new 3D effect and given a subtle surface reflection. We also updated the wordmark to make it feel more corporate and legible. We also adapted the logo to enable product feature branding, and created a naming system for different patented Sippi product features and technologies. Sippsense, Sippcoat and Sippbag each required a logo of their own..
Company website
We then set about creating a serious, informative website using the new branding system. The site was aimed at both the medical profession and investors, and the content needed to reflect that; clean, functional and responsive. We also wrote all the copy and created product videos together with photographer Johan Annerfelt, who also took all the product photos.
The content of the site needed to inform potential investors, medical boards and government regulators of the product benefits in a simple information structure and clear, concise copy, in preparation for the upcoming stock market flotation.
Company IPO presentation
When the company was launched on the First North stock market, we created the IPO and all supporting marketing assets to profile the company and their products to potential investors.
We also shot all of the board's portraits, created the First North IPO registration pages and all literature and marketing materials.
Product branding
We also redesigned the unit's control panel, as well as all product documentation.
